15 years Maike & Armin Krautz Hotel Schneider

At Hotel Schneider, the focus is on a family atmosphere.

Maike and Armin Krautz have been running the hotel on the upper Waltenberg in Winterberg for 15 years.

Looking back says "We did everything right", looking forward "We still have a lot to do".

Both love their job, running a hotel is simply their vocation. Many regular customers have been coming for 15 years - that's what they want to achieve.

But before Armin and Maike Krautz were able to welcome their first guests, they had a lot of work to do. When they took over the Hotel Schneider, it had been empty for two years.

The hotel business could not start without a refurbishment. So investments were made, the motto was: Turn old into new!

Starting with 15 rooms, there are now 24 single, double and multi-bed rooms. All are individually furnished and bear the signature of the owners. Guests should feel at home and the hotel focuses on comfort. Now all the rooms have been renovated, but there will be no standing still!
